Buildings change over their lifespan, and this split level penthouse in the suburbs of North London was a prime example of a property that had been subdivided and recombined over time. This resulted in an apartment that felt disjointed and didn't work for the owners.
Our clients were inspired by contemporary architecture and briefed us to develop a scheme that would fully modernise the property. We created a concept that brought a cohesive feel to the property and allowed for flexible use of space.
We designed and produced a unique kitchen with sweeping curves and modern finishes. A light-filled formal living area was created with full height balcony doors and the glazed mezzanine level now doubles as a guest bedroom and library/music room.
